Mimet was founded in 1930 as a response to the demand of the metal fabrication industry in Chile under the impulse of its founder Luis Montanari and later by his son Orlando who gave a visionary leap into the market of commercial refrigeration.

Today our company is lead by the third generation of Montanary Family members focusing their energies in adding value to the products and supporting the growth and expansion of the sales

Our directory is composed by its owners and also by external professionals that have extensive expertise in several world markets which ensures the multidisciplinary view of our company.

Mimet’s team has been built over time based on principles and corporate values. For this reason he collective agreement as the internal rules extend the benefits to our employees beyond the requirements of Chilean laws.

Our processes have been certified under ISO-9001 (Quality management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) Our products are continuously reviewed against the highest North American standards such as UL Security, UL Sanitation, NSF, in addition to the approvals of other countries where we export our products.

Our commitment to quality is shown in our policy of open financial audit. This policy was consolidated in 2007 when we hire the professional services of PKF Chile, Auditors and Consultants LTD, members of PKF International a prestigious Global auditing company

Part of the commitment to quality is striving to keep up with the advances in our industry and in the markets in general. Therefore Mimet belongs to the exporters association of Manufactures and Services ASEXMA, to the association of Metallurgical Metal fabricator Industries AG ASIMET, and recently to the Chilean-American Chamber of Commerce AMCHAM.
